The Chairman’s New Year’s Day Run & Lunch – Royal Oak Barrington Applications are invited for the 2026 New Year’s Day Run and Classic Car Show on Barrington Green. A route of approximately 25 miles has been planned around the west Cambridgeshire countryside. As before, the departure point will be from Comberton Village College, CB23 7DU. Participants should arrive in good time for an 11.00 am departure. This will allow sufficient time for arrival at Barrington Village and participation and/or viewing of the New Year’s Day Classic Car Show on the village green, (weather permitting). For those who wish to lunch 15 places have been reserved at the Royal Oak, Barrington CB22 7RZ on a first come first served basis. Lunch will need to be pre ordered and prepaid and will be served from 12.30 pm. Those wishing to attend should contact me please via my personal email address: psgancz@gmail.com Early booking is recommended as places are likely to fill up quickly. Further details and a menu choice will be forwarded to those who have registered once these are available from the Royal Oak. Participation in the classic car show will require ticketed pre-entry registration. Further details to follow. |

The 9th Warners MG Gathering will be going to the Warners Runnymede on Thames hotel. The Runnymede hotel is a little different to other Warners hotels, and is a bit more modern rather than Old House type, it is situated on the banks of the River Thames giving it a rather unique setting. It is close to Windsor Historic Town giving a choice of interesting places to visit, both locally and further afield. |
